Currently I am on, what can only be described as a manic quilting binge and I am *trying* to finish a double quilt. When I say finish, I really mean from beginning to end, as I have a few quilt tops in a box that really need attention. This one is special though, it is a little more involved that the ones I have made of late and I plan to keep it for myself. I have given a few away and it always tugs on the heartstrings a bit as they are a labour of love. Still, if they are going to good homes (which they always do) and are used (which they are) and are intended to be handed down as heirloom pieces (which I hope they will!) then I am happy.
None of my quilts are perfect - but they are not meant to be. They are all unique and tell a story. Most often they are made with a person in mind - so it is more than just cutting up fabric and sewing it back together again. So, here it is - photos to follow, a diary of my obsession with textiles, quilting and everything in between.
Current project: 'In Bloom' - 10 more blocks to construct before I put it all together!

You know, that is the best Nirvana song....
